The First One is the Worst One…

…When it comes to a broken heart…

A girl was walking with her dad along all the different shops. He told her he had a surprise for her, but she was just so anxious, she didn't want to wait. The loving father told her to wait patiently, because he had already picked one out for her. This one toy he chose was perfect, and he knew his daughter would love it. As they kept walking, the girl became more impatient, and she told her dad she wanted her present already. She saw something that caught her eye. The perfect set of china-shiny, pink, and ready for her to play with. She told her dad that that was the gift she wanted and wouldn't wait for the other. She thought that there was nothing greater than this china set, and she couldn't wait to get her hands on it. Her dad became sad, and knew that once his daughter saw the gift that he had for her, she'd wish she had waited. Still, he bought the china set for her. Her little heart grew warm as she held the new set in her hands. She dreamed of playing with it as soon as she got home. On their way home, they passed the shop where the father had the other gift. He showed her what it was and her happiness seemed to fade. He had chosen a perfect doll house with all the dolls included. The girl had wanted one of those for a long time, and her dad had cared enough to buy her one. She was sad because she realized that had she waited, she would have gotten that greater present.
